This is a traditional system also known as the Stick system.It fixes the glazing to the load bearing profiles by using clips. This system requires an insert that is fitted in to the glazing chamber (U profile). The combination of the clip plus the insert allows for the glazing to be fixed on all four sides. Following the installation of the clips, the gasket between the glazings must be sealed with ultra violet resistant silicone. The system also incorporates a lower sealing gasket over which the cord is ‘supported’ on the inside.
